Size Guide
What is “Petite”?
Petite fashion is one of the most misunderstood categories in womenswear. Many assume it refers to body size, but in reality, it’s all about height and proportion.
The word petite refers to women who are typically 5’4” (162 cm) and under. It has nothing to do with body shape or size.
You can be:
- Petite and curvy
- Petite and athletic
- Petite and plus-size
The key difference is proportion, shorter torsos, higher knee placement, shorter arms and shorter inseams.
Petite Size Guide
Designed for petite proportions.
If between sizes, size up for a relaxed fit.

How to Measure
- Locate the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above your belly button and below your ribcage.
- Place a soft measuring tape around your waist, ensuring it sits evenly and parallel to the floor.
- The tape should feel snug but not tight. You should be able to breathe and move naturally.
TIP:
For high-waisted trousers, accuracy at this point ensures the most flattering, sculpted fit.
