Why do petite women always have to get their trousers tailored? The problem with standard trousers.

Standard trousers are usually designed for a fit model of 5'6-5'9, meaning the whole garment is proportioned for a taller frame. This includes the front & back rise, waistband, knee placement and inseam.

For petite women, this results in the wrong proportions - not just a trouser being too long. The trousers usually pool around your feet, the crotch is baggy, and the waistband sits too high. We've all been there standing in the fitting room with the trousers pooling on the floor, wondering whether to buy them knowing they'll need alterations.

Standard trouser vs our pleated trouser.

PERFECT PETITE was designed as a slow fashion brand exclusively for petite women 5'3 (160cm) & under. We design our pieces around petite proportions, so it fits where it should - not just at the hem. We do not simply shorten a standard size.

Ready to wear the moment it arrives. No added expense. No tailoring. No waiting. Just investment pieces designed to be worn on repeat.

Because luxury has never been about having more, it's about having better fitting pieces you reach for time and time again.
